Leslie Wooten founded and was pastor of Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene, Decatur, Illinois, from 1951 to his retirement in 1997. Previous to his time in ministry, he worked as a gauger for an oil company and served in World War II in the Infantry. He was married to Nadyne and father to David, Donna, Danny, and Debbie.
